The S.A. Medical and Education Foundation (SAME) is hosting a World AIDS Day event on Thursday, December 1, 2011, for the first time ever in Gauteng at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Rosebank. (The venue has been sponsored by the Park Hyatt) Themed ‘African elegance’, the event will be held from 19:00 until 24:00.
The aim of the event is threefold: to thank South Africa for its continued support and the sponsorship of various projects undertaken by the SAME Foundation throughout the year; to highlight the achievements of the Foundation in providing access to quality healthcare to impoverished communities in South Africa as well as to raise awareness around HIV/AIDS on a national level. The event will host government dignitaries and an array of Corporates supporting the cause.
The proceeds of this event will be used to equip Leratong Hospital’s Walk in Casualty Unit as the hospital already has over 10 140 patients on ARV’s and most of them will use this unit when ill.
The cost of tickets to this prestigious event is R1500 per head or R12 000 per table of 10. This will be a tax deductible donation and a Section 18a will be given with your invitation.
