Pregnant women from Khayelitsha will no longer have to travel across Cape Town to have an ultrasound examination as a gift of R1.5 million worth of equipment to the Site B Day Hospital has made it possible to have these check-ups close to home. The gift was made by the SA Medical Foundation to the provincial health department at a function in Bantry Bay on the 29th November 2006
