The Eden District covers a large area that services rural faming towns including Oudtshoorn, Uniondale, Albertinia, Riversdale, Calitzdorp and Ladismith just to name a few.
Being that the population sizes are far smaller in these rural districts and that they are so far removed from any major cities, it is often overlooked when it comes to Corporate Social Investment and State Budget allocations. It is for this reason that our Foundation decided to focus our attention on a few of the facilities in need of assistance.
The George ART Clinic and the Thembaletu ART Clinic were just two of the facilities we committed ourselves to assist. Thanks to the partnership with Grandslots, we managed to purchase and donate new medical equipment to the value of R570 000.
